Sam I am

One of the most popular children’s books of all time is a simple tale of Green Eggs and Ham. I personally think it is one of the most BRILLIANT sales books ever written. This is a story about a guy named Sam who is introducing a product to a prospective client.
Sam is PERSONABLE and PLEASANT as he introduces himself. Sam is PREPARED and understands the needs of his PROSPECT. Sam PUSHES and PLANS for a Face-to-Face PRESENTATION (not virtual). Sam realizes, this is not a sprint (sale cycle), it’s a marathon and he sets a deliberate PACE with great PASSION and PERSISTENCE. Sam understands his internal PURPOSE, he is PATIENT and does not take rejection PERSONALLY.
Sam will PROPOSE 14 PRAGMATIC questions, and make 2 declarative, encouraging yet challenging statements. These statements will make Sam seem PLAUSABLE. Sam understands, the PERSON asking the questions is the PERSON in control.
Ultimately, Sam’s PROGRAMATIC approach PROVES to be PROFITABLE. His PROSPECT bites off (literally) on what Sam’s PROPOSING, and Sam seals the deal!
In the book of Nehemiah, we find one of the most persuasive men in the Bible. Nehemiah was a cupbearer to the King of Persia. His conviction was to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem. With heartfelt discussions on honor and heritage, he inspired the King and the Jewish people.
Nehemiah 2:17 He said, "Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision."
He essentially taught a Master's class in combining and defining a shared purpose with emotional intelligence, EQ, and strategic planning. PROOF in the PUDDING…he finished the project in just 52 days.
Oh BTW…for you PROFOUND PROFESSIONALS. Green Eggs and Ham is the #1 best-selling Dr. Seuss book of all time, so I do think Sam knows a little bit about persuasion and sales (lol).
Y’all have a great day, and GOD bless you.
Fun Fact: The Book of Nehemiah has been used by multiple modern-day business schools as a case study on project management and organizational change.
