Hit head on at 70 mph, pronounced dead for 6 minutes, in a coma for 6 days and presumed paralyzed. He was even diagnosed with brain damage, but Hal Elrod survived.
After a full recovery, Hal contracted a rare cancer, lost ½ his business and had his home foreclosed on. Hopelessly depressed, he phoned his friend John. John’s only advice was to exercise. Hal was very frustrated by this NON-ADVICE (we all just want the SECRET). John said, when you exercise, you’ll get the blood pumping, the oxygen flowing and the endorphins tagging. You’ll feel better, think more clearly and YOU can figure out how to get yourself out of your own mess (tough love).
Reluctantly taking Johns advice, Hal went for a run the next morning. That day (listening to his iPod) he heard Jim Rohm say, “Your level of success will seldom exceed your level of personal development.” That means success is something you attract by the person you become. Our destiny can be determined by a single decision. Sounds simple doesn’t it?
Multiple studies (including Forbes & INC.) reveal all successful people have some sort of morning routine. They all get up early. Some exercise or meditate or read or write or dream or plan their day etc…. They never deviate from their morning pattern; it is their personal prescription for happiness and success. They are intentional in their rituals.
Hal thought, what If I do ALL of these MILLIONAIRRE MORNING RITUALS? Could it accelerate my growth? Hal’s business doubled in 2 months and the Miracle Morning was born.
If you want Miracle Mornings, you gotta start the day with some or all of these options. This gets you moving in the right direction, right off the bat. Hal created an acronym for the pattern he uses called SAVERS…Silence, Affirmations, Visualizing, Exercise, Reading, Scribing
Funny thing is… these principles had been around for 1000’s of years…
The Bible tells us in Mark 1:35, referring to Jesus "And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed."
Jesus was not the only one who established a Miracle Morning Pattern of seeking God at daybreak We see that Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Job, and Samuel's parents (Hannah & Elkanah), also sought guidance and strength as the sun came up. Start the NEW YEAR with some NEW PATTERNS.
Y’all have a great day and GOD bless you.
