No Pain No Gain

I’ve heard 1000 times… “NO PAIN, NO GAIN”.  Winners understand that there is no blessing without some sort of battle and a burden. The burden is the pain, the battle is the strategy, and the blessing is the outcome.

A woman carries a child for 9 months and endures a great deal while pregnant and then comes the greatest pain of all, child birth.  With all the sleepless nights, financial trials, heart aches and heart breaks is that  blessing worth the battle and burden? Of course, it is.

When HOF DB Deion Sanders won his first Superbowl, he thought ” Is this it”?  It was at that point he realized that the true blessing had been in the battle and the burden.  A lifetime of football practice, exhaustion, physical pain, and bitter losses.  That burden gave him a lifetime of friendships, taught him perseverance, conflict resolution, how to fight through adversity, and how to work inside of a team.

The same applies to our Christian walk. Romans 5:3-5  Paul said Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

I’m not sure what you’re going through right now, but keep fighting. This is a package deal. If you can get HYPER FOCUSED on the blessing, the battle and the burden will not seem nearly as painful and in actuality, may be the most memorable part of the journey.  Y’all have a great day and GOD bless you.
