Mindset Manipulation

Look at the picture below and tell me what you see?  Is it the profile of an “OLD UGLY” woman or a rear-side view of a younger more “VIBRANT and BEAUTIFUL” girl?  Our brain is such a powerful tool, we absolutely have the ability, to shift our thoughts from “OLD UGLY” images to images that are “VIBRANT and BEAUTIFUL.” 

Entrepreneur magazine refers to it as Mindset Manipulation, meaning we are in complete control of how we SEE things. Of course, our perspectives are shaped by our value system, our environment, and even our education. However, it should never be our EXCUSE for not being a Person of Excellence.  Forbes magazine calls it Perspective-taking and defines the ability to shift and control our thinking, as a skill.    

 Winners can and will shift their perspective to control how they RESPOND to life’s curve balls.   Don’t let the “OLD UGLY” thoughts and images define you, shift to something more “VIBRANT and BEAUTIFUL.”  Your perspective is always a choice.

Philippians 4:8 Embodies our ability to shift our mindset and drive our perspective in another direction it says…Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
