Don't be a Crow

Grandaddy told me, don’t shoot the Robbins, but the Crows were fair game. He wanted me to kill ‘em all (lol). Crows are thieving, mean, nasty little birds. Believe it or not, Crows will even attack Eagles in mid-flight. In some cases, the Crows wait for the Eagle to capture its prey, then they overwhelm the Eagle and steal the meal. Crows will actually land on the back of an Eagle in flight and poke and pick at the feathers on the Eagles neck.
Do you have any crows in your life? William Hollis said “Crows can be negative people, critics, opinions, distractions and all the annoyances of life. Anything that is pecking at you, prodding you, disturbing you, AND challenging you.” (negatively)
To Americans, the Eagle represents all that is noble, brave, hardworking, smart and most of all FREE. The Eagle is the fiercest warrior in the sky and could easily dispose of the Crow. The Eagle chooses to take the HIGH ROAD allowing the Crow to succumb to its own devices. As the Crow picks and pokes, the Eagle rises higher and higher and higher. The Crow is not equipped to fly at high altitudes and starts to get woozy from oxygen deprivation. Eventually the Crow passes out and plummets to the earth below. The Eagle is designed to fly effortlessly at high altitudes.
It’s not easy to separate yourself from the Crows of life. Soaring at 10,000 feet, you’re in your element, you’re with other Eagles. William Turner famously said “Birds of a feather flock together.” You’re not designed to fly with Crows and they’re not designed to fly with you. If you decease your altitude (attitude), you’ll be right back in their airspace (negative people, critics, opinions, distractions and all the annoyances of life). Be an Eagle, SOAR HIGHER… the ‘crows of life’ can’t BREATHE at your level!”
Isaiah 40:31 - But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint
1 Corinthians 15:33 reads, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals.'"
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
BTW…A group of crows is called a “murder.” Don’t let bad people kill your sweet spirit. Y’all have a great day and GOD bless you.
