October 29, 1941, Winston Churchills speech at the Harrow School) was an extremely short speech but incredibly powerful. A speech that continues to inspire millions 84 years later. He said…“Never give in. In nothing, great or small, large or petty. Except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never Yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.
“Never give in” –meaning to NEVER yield to external forces (markets, naysayers, or critics). Never compromise your position (ethics and values). NEVER assume failure. NEVER yield to comfort, NEVER take the easy way out. NEVER rest until victory is attained.
“In nothing, great or small, large or petty” – meaning details determine destiny. Nothing great is ever accomplished without a fanatical focus on the small, petty details.
“Except to convictions of honor and good sense.” – meaning do the right thing because it’s the right thing. Be MEN and WOMEN of honor. Be uncompromising in your Christian principles."Never Yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." Les Brown said when life knocks you down, try to land on your back because if you can look up you can get up.
There was another guy who embodied that same spirit. His name was Paul of Tarsus.
Ephesians 6:13 Put on the armor of God: "Therefore take up the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm"
Ephesians 4:27 Give no place to the enemy: "And do not give the devil a foothold"),
Y’all have a great day and GOD bless you
